About the position

Kean Coffee is seeking a passionate and versatile Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assistant to join their roastery production team in Costa Mesa. This full-time role involves packaging, shipping, and delivering coffee while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the roastery. The ideal candidate will work in a collaborative environment, engaging with customers and managing inventory, all while contributing to a dynamic coffee production operation.

Responsibilities

• Accurately package roasted coffee for retail and wholesale orders.
• Prepare orders for local delivery and coordinate shipments via USPS and FedEx.
• Keep the roastery clean and orderly by sweeping, equipment cleaning, and dusting.
• Manage the cold brew coffee program from start to finish.
• Maintain inventory of packaging materials, merchandise, labels, and shipping supplies.
• Deliver coffee and supplies to coffee houses and local wholesale customers, ensuring timely, safe, and friendly service.
• Lift boxes (up to 50 lbs.) and assist with moving heavy coffee bags (up to 154 lbs.) using a pallet jack or dolly.
• Organize workday around production while attending to other roastery tasks.
• Engage with customers during deliveries.
• Work well in a team environment, offering ideas and receiving feedback.
• Handle various tasks as needed.
• Meet deadlines for large order packaging.

Requirements

• Clean DMV driving record and at least 7 years of personal driving experience.
• Accuracy with numbers.
• Positive, 'can do' attitude.
• Mechanical knowledge.
• Computer literacy using a PC.
• Experience using Excel or Google Sheets.

• Previous experience in the coffee industry or a warehouse setting is a plus.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
