About the position

The Non CDL Delivery Driver position at Luke Air Force Base involves loading, transporting, and delivering items to customers efficiently and safely. This role is designed for individuals who enjoy making deliveries but want to reduce their daily workload, as drivers can expect to handle fewer deliveries compared to typical delivery jobs. The position offers a competitive hourly wage with opportunities for raises based on performance and tenure.

Responsibilities

• Loading, transporting, and delivering items to customers in a safe and timely manner.
• Managing an average of 60-122 cases per day.
• Adhering to a schedule that includes working 4 days a week, including 1 weekend day, starting as early as 6am.

Requirements

• Must be at least 25 years old and legally authorized to work in the US.
• 6 months of previous cargo/big box truck driving experience required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background, and criminal checks).
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in delivery or logistics is a plus.

Benefits

• $19/hr starting pay.
• $75 per month cell phone reimbursement.
• Eligible for a $.50/hr raise after 1000 hours of working with no 3pt violations.
• Eligible for another $.50/hr raise after 2000 hours of working with no 3pt violations.
