About the position

As a Delivery Driver at Aaron's, you will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring that our customers receive their merchandise in a timely and professional manner. This position is not just about driving; it involves a variety of tasks that keep our store moving and our customers satisfied. You will be responsible for loading, securing, and protecting merchandise for delivery, as well as offloading, installing, and demonstrating products to customers. Your day will be dynamic, involving both indoor and outdoor work, and you will have the opportunity to connect with members of the community as you assist them with their purchases. In addition to your delivery duties, you will also support the store by helping with moving and installing merchandise. This role is designed for individuals who enjoy a hands-on job and are eager to help customers understand how to use their new products. Responsibilities

  • Load, secure and protect merchandise for delivery.
  • Offload, install and demonstrate merchandise to customers.
  • Safely operate delivery vehicle during deliveries.
  • Assist in the store when needed, including moving and installing merchandise.

Requirements

  • Solid communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • Working knowledge of electronics to assist customers with product usage.
  • Desire to help customers and provide excellent service.
  • Must be at least 21 years old (18 in Canada).
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must meet DOT requirements for certification in the U.S.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. without help and 300 lbs. with a dolly.
  • Ability to work in all outdoor weather conditions, including rain and summer sun.
  • A valid driver's license is required, but a CDL is not necessary.
