About the position

Dulles Glass and Mirror is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to represent the company by delivering products to various business sites in the VA/DC/MD area. The role involves loading, transporting, and delivering items safely and on time, while ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and service. Extensive in-house paid training will be provided to help candidates grow in their careers.

Responsibilities

• Loading, transporting, and delivering items to businesses and showrooms in the VA/DC/MD area.
• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Loading and unloading items from vehicles.
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
• Preparing reports and other documents related to deliveries.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to carry 60-70 pounds multiple times a day.
• Ability to operate both an automatic and manual vehicle.
• Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Good driving record.

Nice-to-haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred).
• 1 year of commercial driving experience (Preferred).
