We are seeking a reliable and responsible part-time Delivery Driver to join our team at Edible Arrangements in Bradenton, FL. This role is crucial as you will be the face of our company during customer interactions, safely and efficiently transporting goods to customers in a timely manner. The position is ideal for retirees or individuals looking to supplement their income, requiring availability on weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles such as vans, box trucks, or other assigned vehicles
• Load and unload gift arrangements, small boxes, platters, etc from the vehicle
• Follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
• Communicate with customers to ensure accurate delivery details and address any concerns or issues
• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each delivery
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues or repairs needed
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations during deliveries

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past 3 years (no speeding tickets or accidents)
• Must be at least 24 years old
• Ability to operate various types of delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks
• Familiarity with route planning software or GPS systems
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers in a professional manner
• Strong organizational and time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
• Ability to load/unload deliveries safely
