About the position

Bayo Food is seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our supply chain logistics team. The role involves transporting finished goods from our warehouse to various retail stores and distribution centers while ensuring compliance with driving regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will also assist in the warehouse as needed, contributing to a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Transport finished goods from the warehouse to retail stores and distribution centers.
• Lift packages up to 40 lbs.
• Assist other pickers and employees as needed.
• Adapt to unexpected situations such as traffic and weather conditions.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules using GPS and smartphone applications.
• Input documents and proof of delivery in the system for each stage of the loading and unloading process.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
• Collect and verify delivery instructions.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Truck Driver (2 years preferred).
• Valid Driver's License.
• Experience with GPS and smartphone applications.
