Delivery Driver

About the position

The Cannabis Delivery Driver position in Oakland, CA, is a part-time role focused on delivering items safely and efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction. The driver will be responsible for adhering to assigned routes and schedules, handling payments, and providing excellent customer service during deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients in a safe, timely manner.
• Reviewing orders at the delivery point to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
• Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles when needed.
• Accepting payments for delivered items.
• Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
• Providing accurate and complete documents relating to deliveries.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid California driver's license.
• Clean driving record.
• Clean criminal record.
• Experience may be required or preferred.
• Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to walk, drive, lift items up to 35 pounds, and maneuver items up to 50 pounds.
• Attention to detail.
• Open availability.
• Must have a good Smart Phone with plenty of data.

Nice-to-haves

• 1 year of delivery driver experience preferred.
