The Supply Chain Delivery Execution Manager at QTS is a pivotal role within the upstream supply chain team, responsible for managing the intricate connections between vendors, warehouse networks, and project sites nationwide. This position is essential for ensuring the seamless coordination and management of equipment delivery for various projects. The manager will work closely with suppliers, internal teams, and on-site personnel to guarantee timely deliveries, accurate tracking, and the resolution of any logistical challenges that may arise during equipment procurement. The successful execution of this role is critical to the overall success of projects, as it directly impacts the logistics of equipment delivery and allocation. In this role, the manager will evaluate incoming shipments to determine the most efficient routing, whether directing them to project sites or storage facilities. They will coordinate with suppliers to ensure that equipment is delivered on time, managing shipping dates to align with project deadlines. The manager will also be responsible for maintaining accurate tracking of shipments, updating relevant information in the tracking system, and communicating updates to stakeholders. Proactive problem-solving is key, as the manager will need to address any issues or discrepancies that arise during the delivery process, collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to find effective solutions. Additionally, the manager will support the management and distribution of shipping guidance processes, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of shipping procedures and requirements. They will work closely with on-site teams to understand their equipment needs and validate them against current shipping schedules.
