About the position

The Delivery Merchandiser (DM) is a vital member of the Retail Sales team at Buffalo Rock Company, responsible for selling, delivering, and merchandising a wide range of beverage products from brands such as PepsiCo, Keurig Dr. Pepper, and Buffalo Rock's private label. This role requires flexibility in work hours and involves direct interaction with customers to maintain positive relationships and ensure compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Service all assigned accounts according to Buffalo Rock Standards and Franchise Policy.
  • Perform specific activities of the assigned route, including selling new products and managing displays.
  • Develop and maintain positive professional customer relationships.
  • Communicate all transshipping activity and visit accounts weekly to pick up pallets and trays.
  • Take ownership of assigned accounts to ensure success.
  • Notify supervisor of any changes to existing accounts.
  • Complete all required paperwork in accordance with company policy.
  • Monitor assigned accounts for compliance with CDA standards.
  • Communicate daily with supervisor regarding product shortages and operational items.
  • Achieve required percentage of Strategic Execution Objectives.
  • Execute and achieve all account program key objectives.
  • Properly rotate all products according to company policy.
  • Remove damaged and out-of-date products during account visits.
  • Ensure proper documentation of pickups during visits.
  • Assist management in reporting competitive activity and achieving sales goals.
  • Follow all DOT Regulations and company policies related to truck operations.
  • Work weekends, non-traditional hours, and holidays as needed.
  • Attend all scheduled meetings and participate as required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid state driver license with a good driving record.
  • Valid state Class A Commercial Driver License (where applicable).
  • D.O.T Certified (where applicable).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales or merchandising is preferred but not required.
