The Delivery Merchandiser Trainee position at Coca-Cola Consolidated is designed for individuals looking to start their career in the beverage delivery industry. This role involves learning the daily duties of route delivery and merchandising, including stocking and facing products in various locations. The position requires early morning starts and availability on weekends, with a focus on customer service and safety in handling products during delivery.

Responsibilities

• Learn to drive a Class A CDL vehicle and obtain required licensing within 10 weeks of training start date.
• Under supervision, learn processes and gain skills necessary to service customers using all equipment utilized in the delivery process.
• Properly secure company assets and inventory while safely handling products upon delivery.
• Develop merchandising habits and techniques to ensure customer satisfaction and meet company standards.
• Learn and adhere to company safety standards and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration rules.
• Develop customer service skills by understanding customer needs and communicating issues to management.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license for your state of residency and excellent driving history.
• Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (Class A CDL), not required for hire.
• Ability to pass and maintain D.O.T. physical requirements.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous route delivery, direct store delivery, stocking, merchandising products, or retail management experience is strongly preferred.
