About the position

The Delivery Operations Specialist at Lucid is responsible for ensuring a seamless delivery process that enhances the customer experience. This role involves preparing vehicles for delivery, managing customer paperwork with precision, and supporting the sales team throughout the delivery day. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to accuracy and exceptional interpersonal skills, contributing to the overall success of the Lucid Motors brand.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and verify vehicle intake inspection to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Liaise with the Service team for any required repair work.
  • Prepare the vehicle and delivery area for customer delivery.
  • Print, prepare, audit, and upload required paperwork to complete delivery and register the vehicle.
  • Support the Delivery Associate during the delivery ceremony.
  • Assist with delivery orientations as required.
  • Monitor and manage the physical vehicle inventory in collaboration with the internal allocations team.
  • Ensure inventory is well-maintained and visually appealing.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for vehicle requests as needed.
  • Track the status of built-to-order and inbound inventory vehicles, working with logistics and transportation teams in case of delays.
  • Update the Sales team on vehicle readiness status.
  • Request and track final mile vehicle requests for customer transport or relocations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience in operations or support role.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on improving efficiencies and providing great experiences.
  • Self-starter with high attention to detail, thriving in ambiguous and rapidly changing situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Willingness to be hands-on with all delivery operations.
  • Valid driver's license with no suspensions within the past year.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends in a retail environment.
  • Physical ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, and stand for extended periods.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
  • Prior experience in the automotive sector.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, or a related discipline.
