About the position

Arhaus Furniture is seeking enthusiastic and dependable individuals to join our Delivery Scheduling team as Scheduling Specialists. In this role, you will be responsible for direct outreach to clients to schedule orders that are eligible for delivery. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to maintain high levels of professionalism and brand endorsement while interacting with our clients. Your primary goal will be to maximize scheduled deliveries while providing warm and friendly customer service. This position is based at our Corporate Office in Boston Heights, OH, and requires a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers. The work schedule for this position includes weekdays from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with one day off during the week and Sundays off. Training will take place Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM for three weeks. As a Scheduling Specialist, you will provide post-sales support by reviewing fully committed orders for accuracy and completeness, making outbound calls, and taking inbound calls from clients whose orders are eligible for delivery. You will also be responsible for collecting balances due and partnering with delivery, inventory, and client services to fulfill orders as needed. Accurate documentation of communication with clients and company partners is essential, and you may assist with reporting and special project assignments as required by management. This role is vital to ensuring that our clients receive their orders in a timely and efficient manner, and it requires a dedicated individual who is willing to work overtime as needed to meet business demands.

Responsibilities

  • Provide post-sales support by reviewing fully committed orders for accuracy and completeness.
  • Make outbound calls and take inbound calls from clients whose orders are eligible for delivery.
  • Collect balances due from clients.
  • Partner with delivery, inventory, and client services to fulfill orders as needed.

  • Perform other duties as determined by management to fulfill the necessary functions of the position.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Evenings and weekends are required.
  • Interpersonal skills and good telephone etiquette skills are essential.
  • Ability to work under general supervision, applying a wide variety of defined procedures to resolve a variety of problems or situations.
  • Experience in retail sales is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
  • Dedicated to the business and willing to work overtime as needed.
  • Previous customer service or call center background is a plus.
