About the position

The position involves delivering parts and products to O'Reilly stores and distribution centers in a safe and efficient manner. The role requires driving a company vehicle and ensuring that deliveries are made according to a set schedule. Candidates are encouraged to apply if they are bilingual, particularly in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and/or distribution center.
• Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on set route, deliver to appropriate store.
• Maintain daily city route manifest for deliveries.
• Keep fleet/fuel card, vehicle, and keys secure.
• Familiarize with accident report guidelines.
• Ensure designated team member at each store verifies all invoices and signs the route manifest.
• Report any delays to city delivery supervisor and/or stores remaining on route.
• Project a professional and personable image to maintain good customer relations.
• Communicate any problems or special needs from stores to store management.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Check fluid levels and log mileage prior to operating vehicle each day.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately to store manager.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled, lock and secure vehicle at end of day's business.
• Drive safely and defensively.

Requirements

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.

Nice-to-haves

• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
