About the position

The Supply Chain Analyst for Material Handling Equipment at Ferguson will support the fleet management operation of over 8000 units across more than 1500 locations in North America. This hybrid role emphasizes exceptional customer service, safety, and efficiency in managing a diverse fleet while ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures. The analyst will be responsible for auditing expenses, processing requests, and identifying opportunities for process improvements within the fleet program.

Responsibilities

  • Function as a dedicated fleet team resource providing support for all Ferguson associates in relation to material handling equipment.
  • Field phone calls, respond to emails, and send out regular communication on program changes.
  • Utilize and demonstrate ability to prioritize requests and exhibit exceptional time management.
  • Identify and implement orders for new equipment per fleet program governance.
  • Monitor the approval process for service expenses exceeding a threshold dollar amount.
  • Audit and process $800K+ in monthly expenses relating to the operation of the material handling fleet.
  • Develop and publish vendor facing KPIs on a monthly basis.
  • Explore new avenues for revenue in the remarketing of used equipment.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities that increase value and efficiency of the fleet program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Associate's Degree preferred, but not required.
  • Prior experience with an equipment OEM, dealership, service facility, or rental company.
  • Experience with material fleet management or procurement as an end user.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or other equivalent platform.

Nice-to-haves

  • Web design experience preferred.
  • Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools like Power BI or Tableau.
