A Boomi Integration Engineer at our client will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining new integration processes between cloud-based and on-premises applications using the Boomi AtomSphere platform. This role requires a deep understanding of integration methodologies and the ability to work with various applications to ensure seamless data flow and process automation. The engineer will manage the Boomi environment, performing integrations using Dell Boomi and backend systems such as CMiC, Fresh Service ticketing tool, and Wrike for tracking updates and changes. Additionally, the engineer will handle customer interactions through Teams calls and meetings, ensuring effective communication and support. The position involves checking the integration status of projects and project tasks with Workday from CMiC, as well as utilizing applications like Workmax, CMiC, and Cosential to create Jobs and Change Orders (COAs). The engineer will be responsible for updating and enhancing interfaces using Dell Boomi according to current business requirements and managing any new change requests that arise. This includes using the Boomi Atom Queues messaging system to retrieve data from SFTP locations and transmit it to other applications. Furthermore, the engineer will work with Active Directory to manage employee records and utilize SFTP for file storage. They will extract employee data from Workday and disseminate this information to various systems, including Active Directory, Benevity, CARM, Certify, CMiC, Cosential, Epicore, LaborChart, RentalResults, Solium, Trumpia, and Workmax. The role also encompasses integrating contact information from Active Directory to Fresh Service and onboarding new hires from Workday to Fresh Service. In addition to development tasks, the engineer will take on a production support role, which includes code fixing, unit testing, preparing test results, and creating change request and technical design documents for production deployment. Monitoring the Boomi exception dashboard and Boomi flow for issues is crucial, as is using Flow on Demand to reprocess any failed feeds. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of integration quality.
