About the position

As a Solution Analyst specializing in UX/UI Design at Deloitte Consulting, you will play a pivotal role in creating mission-critical solutions for our clients. Our US Delivery Center collaborates with other delivery centers globally to provide comprehensive design, development, and sustainment services, both pre- and post-implementation. This position offers a unique opportunity to enhance your technology and business skills while supporting organizations through large-scale transformations, ultimately helping clients achieve superior service and business value. In this role, you will work closely with an experienced team, acting as a strategic advisor to clients throughout the solution implementation and maintenance processes. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of skill sets, particularly in UX/UI design. You will support discussions led by functional analysts regarding project scope and features, iterating on low-fidelity mockups and capturing high-level user flows. Additionally, you will be responsible for building foundational design elements, including establishing the Figma design system, creating style guides, and designing standard page templates and layouts. Your work will also involve iterating on high-fidelity mockups, creating clickable prototypes, and documenting design requirements to facilitate a smooth handoff to development teams. You will conduct evaluations of existing applications to assess their accessibility and usability, and assist in planning and conducting user research through surveys, interviews, and workshops. Synthesizing findings from current state evaluations and user research feedback will be crucial in informing and guiding all project workstreams, ensuring that the solutions we deliver are user-centered and effective.

Responsibilities

  • Support conversations led by functional analysts on project scope and features.
  • Iterate on low-fidelity mockups and capture high-level user flows.
  • Build out foundational design, including setting up the Figma design system and creating a style guide.
  • Design standard page templates and layouts.
  • Iterate on high-fidelity mockups and create clickable prototypes.
  • Document design requirements to support handoff to development.
  • Conduct current state evaluations of existing application's accessibility and usability.
  • Assist in planning and conducting user research, including surveys, interviews, and workshops.
  • Synthesize current state findings and user research feedback into actionable, prioritized results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree completed by August 2025 in UX/UI Design, Human-Centered Design, Digital Communications, Computer Science, or related areas of study.
  • Strong academic track record with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Must submit a design portfolio upon application.
  • Must live within a commutable distance (approximately 100-mile radius) to designated Delivery locations: Gilbert, AZ; Lake Mary, FL; Mechanicsburg, PA.
  • Expectation to co-locate in designated Delivery location up to 30% of the time based on business needs, including a maximum of 10% overnight client/project travel.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Must be able to obtain the required level of security clearance for this role.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to translate concepts into user flows, user stories, user journeys, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates personal style and proficiency in designing responsive web or mobile apps.
  • Experience with Figma.
