About the position

As an Analyst in Deloitte Risk & Financial Advisory, you will gain hands-on experience working with leading professionals and clients across various industries. The role focuses on helping organizations navigate business risks and opportunities, particularly in the areas of financial, operational, and regulatory risks. You will work on multiple projects, leveraging your business-related degree to assist clients in preparing for and responding to threats, including corporate fraud and regulatory actions.

Responsibilities

  • Work on multiple projects to help clients respond to threats before incidents occur.
  • Assist in preparing and executing detailed work plans for various engagements.
  • Review documents to identify items relevant to investigation or dispute matters.
  • Compile and analyze facts to formulate and critique various damages theories, claims, or conclusions.
  • Prepare client presentations, reports, and deliverables on diverse projects, including accounting and fraud investigations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related technical business degree.
  • Strong academic track record with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
  • Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of Windows-based systems and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • Meet minimal educational requirements for CPA licensure in the state of your assigned office location.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or above.
  • Relevant work experience in a professional environment, such as internships or summer positions.
  • Demonstrated recent leadership in campus clubs, societies, or sports teams.
  • Demonstrated recent social impact or volunteer activity.
