About the position

Delta Vacations, a Delta Air Lines company, is seeking a Manager of Creative Strategy, also known as a Creative Director, to join our Marketing team. This role is pivotal in generating innovative ideas that drive creativity and help achieve all of Marketing's objectives for the business. The Manager of Creative Strategy will be responsible for shaping the voice and visual identity of our brand, ensuring that our creative approach aligns seamlessly with our business strategy. As a leader in this position, you will inspire and guide a team of dedicated creatives, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovative thinking and problem-solving. In this role, you will focus on creating a consistent brand image across all channels, overseeing the design and execution of advertisements, marketing materials, and digital content. You will play a key role in developing unique creative concepts and leading multiple projects across various media platforms. This position offers a competitive salary range of $69,910 - $116,787 annually, reflecting the importance of this role in our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Inspire and guide a team of dedicated creatives, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Create a consistent brand image across all channels.
  • Oversee the design and execution of advertisements, marketing materials, and digital content.
  • Develop unique creative concepts and lead multiple projects across various media platforms.
  • Finetune and lead the creative vision for the brand and company.
  • Generate new ideas to elevate creative work to the next level.
  • Understand brand needs and serve as a brand steward.
  • Stay updated on style guides and brand voice for consistency in messaging.
  • Lead creative brainstorms to develop and implement creative strategies.
  • Provide additional creative concepting support and build conceptual presentation decks.
  • Complete creative concepts/mockups using Adobe Creative Suite tools.
  • Collaborate with team members to understand strategy and establish guidelines for innovative solutions.
  • Independently handle creative projects, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Provide constructive feedback to the team.
  • Stay informed about trends and methodologies in the marketing and creative industry.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in advertising, art, writing, or design or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in creative problem-solving, with 4 years in an ad agency background.
  • At least 4 years' experience leading/managing creative team members.
  • Familiarity with consumer-brand interaction across diverse media channels (web, video, social, digital, events).
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with management and staff.
  • Comfortable managing others and overseeing production and delivery of projects.
  • Basic understanding of brand strategy and its influence on creative strategy.
  • Ability to independently take a creative idea from concept to execution under constraints.
