About the position

The Demand & Fulfillment Planner at Clarks Americas Inc is responsible for producing accurate demand forecasts for all Clarks owned points of purchase across various channels. This role involves managing stock allocation and replenishment to ensure optimal product delivery and stock levels. The planner will also review and update forecasts based on sales data, promotions, and commercial plans, ensuring alignment with the supply chain processes.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain long term and short term forecasts for product allocation.
• Set time and size profiles for seasonal forecasting processes.
• Collaborate with Merchandise to deliver forecasts that meet commercial requirements.
• Set seasonal assortment and allocation plans aligned with merchandising and trading plans.
• Optimize store level profiles and overall size/time phase profiles based on trading patterns.
• Monitor sales and adjust forecasts to align with merchandising plans.
• Manage the launch of new products in stores in conjunction with Supply Chain and Merchandising teams.
• Maintain forecast accuracy and review exception reports to improve accuracy.
• Ensure stock allocation aligns with plans and optimize in-season profiles.
• Manage end of life markdowns and stock distribution to stores.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
• 2+ years in an analytical role.
• Highly developed numerical, analytical, and interpretive skills.
• Ability to use analytics tools such as databases, BI, and Excel for analysis.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships across functions.
• High attention to detail with the ability to spot issues in data.
• Knowledge of merchandise planning processes and demand forecasting methods.
