About the position

The Demand Generation Manager for K-12 Education at Pearson is responsible for expanding the company's presence in various educational institutions, including K-12 school districts and private schools. This role focuses on promoting educational curricula and driving revenue growth through targeted outbound marketing campaigns. The manager will collaborate closely with sales teams to communicate value propositions effectively and analyze campaign performance to ensure continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement outbound marketing campaigns tailored to the needs of school districts and other secondary education entities.
  • Identify and qualify potential leads, ensuring a steady pipeline of opportunities for the sales team.
  • Work closely with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales goals and ensure cohesive messaging.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of outbound campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Develop compelling content for outbound campaigns, including emails, call scripts, and promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with teams to connect marketing programs with relevant sales activities and optimize program-product mappings for better customer experience.
  • Analyze metrics and data to evaluate the success of marketing programs and develop compelling messaging for products.
  • Monitor CRM for performance related to lead generation, emerging opportunities, and close rate.
  • Collaborate with different teams to ensure smooth integration of taxonomies, program mappings, and commercialization efforts for the K-12 market.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B demand generation and marketing experience in the K-12 education market.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is desired.
  • Experience with revenue intelligence platforms (6sense).
  • Highly organized and efficient with the ability to develop and execute against an evolving plan.
  • Ability to clearly communicate new ideas, products, and campaigns to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong experience in the development of multi-channel campaigns.
  • Strong reporting capabilities with the ability to track campaign performance and associated spend down to the most granular details.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and shift workload to meet deadlines.
