About the position

The Demand Generation Manager for K-12 Education at Pearson is responsible for expanding the company's presence in various educational institutions, including K-12 school districts, private schools, and juvenile justice agencies. This role focuses on promoting Pearson's Advanced Placement, Honors, and Career and Technical Education (CTE) curriculum through targeted outbound marketing campaigns, collaborating closely with sales teams to effectively communicate value propositions to key decision-makers and drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement outbound marketing campaigns tailored to the needs of school districts and other secondary education entities, including email marketing, cold calling, and direct mail.
  • Identify and qualify potential leads, ensuring a steady pipeline of opportunities for the sales team.
  • Work closely with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales goals and ensure cohesive messaging.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of outbound campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Develop compelling content for outbound campaigns, including emails, call scripts, and promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with teams to connect marketing programs with relevant sales activities, continuously assessing and optimizing program-product mappings for better customer experience and marketing results.
  • Analyze metrics and data to evaluate the success of marketing programs, developing compelling messaging and positioning for products, and monitoring CRM for performance related to lead generation, emerging opportunities, and close rate.
  • Work closely with different teams, including Higher Education Product and Product Marketing teams, to ensure smooth integration of taxonomies, program mappings, and commercialization efforts for the K-12 market.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B demand generation and marketing experience in the K-12 education market
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is desired
  • Experience with revenue intelligence platforms (6sense)
  • Highly organized and efficient with the ability to develop and execute against an evolving plan
  • Able to clearly communicate new ideas, products, and campaigns to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Team player that is able to work both collaboratively and autonomously
  • Strong experience in the development of multi-channel campaigns
  • Strong reporting capabilities with the ability to track campaign performance and associated spend down to the most granular details while providing roll-up reporting to leadership
  • Must be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and shift workload to meet deadlines
