About the position

The Worldwide Demand Planner for AppleCare is responsible for managing demand forecasting and planning within the AppleCare business. This role requires a blend of technical, analytical, and project management skills to deliver accurate demand forecasts and support cross-functional teams in making informed planning decisions. The ideal candidate will analyze large datasets, identify trends, and communicate insights effectively to internal stakeholders, all while driving innovative processes to enhance customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage demand forecasting and planning for the AppleCare business.
• Analyze large amounts of data to identify significant trends and adjust forecasts accordingly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Procurement, Channels, Readiness, Capacity Planning, and Supply Planning.
• Complete root cause analyses and develop mitigation plans for unexpected demand changes.
• Standardize deliverables and ensure adherence to commitments.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree.
• Minimum of 5 years in service, manufacturing, logistics operations, or equivalent.
• Experience in forecasting or planning.
• Adept at merging data from various sources to generate conclusions through analysis.
• Expertise in creating reports and analytics dashboards in Tableau.
• Programming skills in SQL and Python or R.

Nice-to-haves

• MS/MBA in Supply Chain or Operations.
• Experience with database technologies like Teradata, Oracle, and MySQL.
