About the position

The Demand Planner at CA Superior Communications is responsible for all forecasting activities related to customers and products, focusing on optimizing inventory levels and ensuring accurate demand forecasts. This role involves analyzing market trends, collaborating with various departments, and leading planning meetings to achieve forecast accuracy and service level targets.

Responsibilities

• Analyze factors impacting demand for mobile accessory products and build statistical models to quantify the business environment.
• Manage demand forecasts based on trends, seasonality, and promotions while considering channel inventory and product life cycles.
• Lead collaborative planning, forecasting, and replenishment meetings with key accounts.
• Partner with Sales, Product Management, Procurement, and customers to minimize financial impacts.
• Achieve forecast accuracy, inventory, service level, and customer in-stock percentage targets.
• Communicate material shortages and delays to appropriate customer contacts.
• Lead S&OP meetings for respective channels.
• Manage customer location inventory levels using statistical methods.
• Set Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) store minimum levels and RMA process.
• Prepare reports to identify key metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain Management).
• 2 years of supply chain experience or 5 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, sum-ifs, conditional formatting, lookups).
• Understanding of ERP and MRP systems.
• Experience with Vendor Management Inventory (VMI) management.
