About the position

The Demand Planner II role at Client involves developing, communicating, and executing end-to-end product demand and supply plans across various distribution channels for a product line. This position is crucial for ensuring operational excellence and involves collaboration with multiple teams to meet financial objectives and drive product transitions smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Forecast demand, inventory, and multi-channel sell-through.
  • Generate weekly and quarterly supply plans that align with Client's financial objectives.
  • Evaluate risks and plan contingency measures.
  • Analyze product sales to identify opportunities for action.
  • Collaborate with regional product planning teams to ensure supply plans meet sales requirements.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and New Product Operations teams for product launches and transitions.
  • Work with global procurement teams to allocate constrained components and achieve raw material inventory targets.
  • Present product updates and recommended actions to the Operations executive management team weekly.
  • Identify improvement opportunities in the product planning process and drive projects to completion.

Requirements

  • Advanced Excel skills are required.
  • SAP experience is desired.
  • Excellent analytical capabilities, business savvy, and leadership skills.
  • Comfortable working with large data sets and attention to detail.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills in a matrix organization.
  • Prior experience in complex quantitative analysis fields such as finance or consulting is desired.
  • Experience in product planning, production control, inventory management, or manufacturing operations is desired.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA or Master's Degree in a related field is desired.
  • 5-7 years of related experience with a B.S. degree or 3-5 years with an advanced degree.
