About the position

The Demand Planner II role is a critical position within the Supply Demand Management (SDM) team, responsible for developing and executing end-to-end product demand and supply plans across various distribution channels globally. This position requires a dynamic individual who can forecast demand, analyze product sales, and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure operational excellence and meet financial objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Forecast demand, inventory, and multi-channel sell-through.
  • Generate weekly and quarterly supply plans that align with the company's financial objectives.
  • Evaluate risks and implement contingency plans.
  • Analyze product sales to identify opportunities for action.
  • Collaborate with regional product planning teams to ensure supply plans meet sales requirements.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and New Product Operations teams for product launches and transitions.
  • Work with global procurement teams to allocate constrained components and achieve raw material inventory targets.
  • Present product updates and recommended actions to the Operations executive management team weekly.
  • Identify improvement opportunities in the product planning process and drive projects to completion.

Requirements

  • Strong Python experience (3+ years).
  • Experience building professional applications with complex business logic.
  • Ability to learn new software languages such as Matlab or Swift.
  • Proficiency in Git, CI/CD, and software automated testing (e.g., unit tests).
  • Comfortable communicating with Acoustic engineers in a collaborative environment.
  • Competent in writing technical documentation.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, collaborative, and proactive communicator with a demonstrated ability to lead projects.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Objective-C, Swift, Matlab, or JMP.
  • Basic networking knowledge and experience with AWS microservices or other server-side technologies.
  • Familiarity with macOS and iOS development environments.
  • Acoustic engineering knowledge including signal processing and audio analysis algorithms.
  • Advanced degrees in Computer Science or equivalent fields are preferred, but diverse paths to expertise are welcome.
