About the position

As a Demand Planner in Outbound Planning at Tesla, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our supply chain operates efficiently and effectively. Your primary responsibility will be to forecast demand for our products, ensuring that we have the right amount of inventory available to meet customer needs while minimizing excess stock. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including sales, marketing, and production, to gather insights and data that will inform your demand forecasts. Your analytical skills will be essential as you utilize various forecasting tools and methodologies to predict future demand trends based on historical data and market analysis. In this position, you will also be responsible for monitoring inventory levels and making recommendations for adjustments as necessary. You will analyze sales patterns and customer behavior to identify opportunities for improvement in our supply chain processes. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of our demand planning efforts. Your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams will be crucial in driving alignment and ensuring that everyone is on the same page regarding inventory levels and demand forecasts. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in demand planning or supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in forecasting tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
