About the position

We are seeking a highly motivated Demand Planning Analyst to join our team. This is a 100% remote position, requiring work during Pacific Coast hours. The successful candidate will develop statistical forecast models, support the creation of demand plans, and engage in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process. You will also report on forecast accuracy, recommend actions to improve accuracy, and use confidential sales, finance, and marketing information to drive demand plans. Additionally, you will recommend supply chain process improvements and adjust consensus plans to consider various constraints. This role is critical in ensuring that our demand planning processes are efficient and effective, contributing to the overall success of our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and be comfortable working with large datasets to derive actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop statistical forecast models to predict demand accurately.
• Support the creation of demand plans based on forecast models.
• Engage in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align demand and supply.
• Report on forecast accuracy and recommend actions to improve it.
• Utilize confidential sales, finance, and marketing information to drive demand plans.
• Recommend supply chain process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Adjust consensus plans to consider various constraints affecting supply and demand.

Requirements

• Proficiency in statistical forecasting techniques and models.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Sigma and Tableau.
• Strong skills in Excel, particularly V-Lookup and other advanced functions.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment during Pacific Coast hours.
