About the position

The Demand Planning Manager at Fellow will play a crucial role in ensuring that the company meets customer demand efficiently while optimizing inventory levels and supply chain performance. This position involves forecasting, demand analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to create accurate demand plans that support the company's growth and customer satisfaction goals. The role is based in San Francisco and requires in-office presence three days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a robust demand forecasting process incorporating historical trends, sell-through data, market insights, and customer inputs.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Category Management, and Marketing teams to gather insights and feedback for demand forecasts.
  • Establish relationships with retailer customers and distributors for jointly owned demand forecasts.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain and Production teams to align demand plans with product launch timing and production schedules.
  • Utilize data analytics and forecasting tools to analyze demand patterns and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Lead Demand Review meetings as part of the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop demand plans for new product launches and ensure smooth market introduction.
  • Educate channel owners on forecasting best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in demand planning or a related role with a proven track record of success.
  • Proficiency in demand forecasting tools and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent internal communication skills and executive presence.
  • Excellent external communication skills for collaboration with retail customers and distributor partners.
  • Knowledge of the consumer goods industry is a plus.
