About the position

The Demand Planning role at Mondelēz International focuses on digitization and continuous development to enhance efficiency in demand planning. The position involves maintaining master data, developing forecasts, and collaborating with various teams to ensure effective communication and execution of demand plans. The role requires participation in integrated business planning processes and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in projects related to the development and digitalization of demand planning.
  • Collaborate with COE to build the best planning culture and promote efficient solutions.
  • Develop individual solutions aimed at automation and speeding up data work.
  • Continuously maintain master data settings at the appropriate level.
  • Manage the forecast compilation process, including short-term and long-term forecasts.
  • Contribute to the demand management monthly cycle of the integrated business planning process.
  • Liaise with commercial and operational teams to improve communication and support business KPIs.
  • Interact with the modeling team to generate statistical forecasts.
  • Participate in the integrated business planning process and manage the demand planning tool.
  • Perform root-cause analysis for continuous plan improvement.

Requirements

  • Experience in a fast-moving consumer goods or consumer packaged goods environment, preferably in food.
  • Experience within an IBP/S&OP environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer preferences.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Demonstrated experience in demand planning roles in volatile industries.
  • Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with SAP ERP systems and demand planning software SAP APO.
  • Basic knowledge of VBA programming within Excel.
  • Advanced experience with Power Query for data transformation.
  • Advanced experience with Power BI for data visualization.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
