As we continue to grow, we are excited to add a Demand Planner to our global team. SharkNinja, a multi-billion-dollar consumer products company, is seeking a Demand Planner for its NA business. Based in Needham, the Demand Planner role is responsible for delivering a highly reliable forecast and driving speed to insights in order to deliver the best service to our customers at the lowest cost. This role is also responsible for identifying opportunities for process and tool improvement; this role may be responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives. Here are some of the EXCITING things you'll get to do: Drive business results by managing statistical modeling to project future demand and integration of market intelligence. Identify anomalies in forecasting model and make recommendations to improve forecast quality. Partner with Commercial Sales and Finance to deliver a highly reliable monthly forecast. Interpret business drivers that affect forecast/supply chain performance and communicate the impact. Serve as subject matter expert for monthly consensus meetings. Be part of the transformation by partnering with leadership to develop and lead implementation of supply chain planning processes to further improve the supply chain and drive enhanced planning maturity. Develop a culture of accountability around maintaining key supply chain inputs that reflect actual performance as it exists in the current state.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Commercial Sales and Finance to deliver a highly reliable monthly forecast.
  • Interpret business drivers that affect forecast/supply chain performance and communicate the impact.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for monthly consensus meetings.
  • Partner with leadership to develop and lead implementation of supply chain planning processes to improve the supply chain and drive enhanced planning maturity.
  • Develop a culture of accountability around maintaining key supply chain inputs that reflect actual performance.

Requirements

  • 2-5+ years demand planning or supply chain experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Successful track record of developing reliable forecasts that incorporate baseline modeling, event lift, pricing elasticity, new product launches, retailer insights, and competitive activities.
  • Experience with JDA/RedPrairie or demand planning system is required.
  • Strong analytical skills and proven experience in using data (KPIs) in a measurable way to achieve targeted results that are relevant to the organization.
  • Experience with demand modeling, demand shaping, and allocation.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills, attention to accuracy & ability to reconcile various data elements.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to risk management.
  • Demonstrated capability of partnering with and influencing across functions, including Commercial Sales, Category Management, and Finance.
  • Operate with a strong work ethic and an unrelenting resolve to follow through and meet commitments.
  • A demonstrated willingness to learn, roll-up their sleeves and set an example for the team as a 'doer.'
