About the position

As a Demand Planner at Gozney, you will play a crucial role in driving the demand planning strategy to align the supply chain with business goals. Your expertise in data analysis, market trends, and forecasting will be essential in developing accurate demand forecasts that support Gozney's dynamic product lineup. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal inventory strategies and successful product launches, contributing to the company's commitment to innovation and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Analyze historical sales data and prepare forecast data to develop statistical models.
• Create comprehensive demand forecasts for units and revenue, incorporating market trends.
• Continuously monitor sales data and adjust forecasts in real-time based on market insights.
• Oversee and refine data hierarchies to maintain an accurate historical data set for forecasting.
• Lead monthly collaboration meetings with sales and cross-functional teams to align on forecasts.
• Contribute to the CPFR process by partnering with various teams to utilize accurate data in demand planning.
• Develop and implement a New Product Launch Forecast process in collaboration with product and sales leaders.
• Provide input to the Supply Planning team for inventory strategies related to product launches and end-of-life cycles.
• Assist in preparing materials for monthly S&OP meetings to support strategic decision-making.
• Conduct post-mortem analyses of forecasts to identify areas for improvement and enhance accuracy.
• Generate and distribute key reports for sales teams to aid in forecasting and planning decisions.
• Collaborate with Supply Planning to maintain a vendor-facing purchase forecast.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in supply chain, operations, or equivalent education and training.
• Proficiency in Excel and strong data manipulation skills for analyzing complex datasets.
• Ability to balance and prioritize the needs of operations, sales, and finance.
• Exceptional communication skills for engaging with internal teams and external partners.
