About the position

The Demand Planner at De Nora Tech is responsible for managing monthly demand plans for the company's products. This role involves overseeing forecast input, statistical trend data analysis, and monitoring consumption to meet customer demand. Key performance indicators include forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and customer service levels. The Demand Planner also supports domestic and international sales orders and delivery, ensuring effective communication with customers throughout the order process.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly demand planning process by collaborating with Sales, Supply Planning, and S&OP Manager.
• Attend weekly order status meetings and other necessary meetings.
• Forecast demand using sales input and historical data analysis.
• Conduct monthly demand consensus and supply planning meetings to resolve issues.
• Communicate results to internal groups including Sales, Finance, and Operations.
• Develop proficiency in CyberPlan planning software tool.
• Synchronize Supply & Demand by aligning final demand plan to supply plan.
• Identify and communicate supply risks, opportunities, and constraints.
• Partner with supply planning to understand supply chain implications of forecast changes.
• Drive process improvements within the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
• Review inventory activity and make recommendations for slow or obsolete inventory.
• Continuously improve demand planning procedures and recommend enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; BS in statistical, business, or supply chain preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years supply chain experience.
• 3+ years of Demand Planning experience.
• Strong demand forecasting and Excel analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• SAP or similar ERP system skills preferred.

• Experience with change management initiatives in Demand Planning.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
