The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is seeking a Sr. Inventory Specialist to join our team at the Roasting and Distribution Facility in Camarillo, CA. This position plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the Supply Chain department, ensuring that our demand planning processes are effectively implemented to support the growth and operational success of our facility. As a part of our Brew Crew, you will be part of a diverse team dedicated to connecting people through the daily rituals of coffee and tea, and you will have the opportunity to make a unique contribution to our mission. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving demand forecasts for our products by analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and seasonality. You will work closely with various stakeholders to implement the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process in the US, aligning it with our global cadence. Monitoring inventory levels will be a key responsibility, as you will need to balance product availability with cost control and waste reduction. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, production, logistics, and procurement will be essential to ensure that demand forecasts align with the company's overall business strategy. You will also analyze sales and inventory data to identify trends and anomalies, develop strategies to mitigate demand variability, and track key performance indicators related to demand planning and inventory management. Your ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers will be vital in ensuring that demand forecasts and related information are shared accurately and timely. This position reports directly to the Sr. Director of Americas Supply Chain & Customer Service, and you will be expected to identify opportunities for process improvements within the supply chain to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
