About the position

Demand Planner is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring supply chain projects to ensure timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals. This role involves developing project schedules, managing resources, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables for supply chain initiatives.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
• Identify and allocate resources needed to execute projects effectively.
• Monitor resource utilization to ensure optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Analyze current supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to implement enhancements.
• Identify potential risks and challenges that could impact project timelines or budgets.
• Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address identified risks.
• Track project progress and ensure adherence to schedules and budgets.
• Prepare and present regular status reports to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and milestones.
• Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams, including procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and finance.
• Act as the primary point of contact for project-related queries and updates.
• Evaluate the outcomes of completed projects to identify lessons learned and opportunities for future improvements.
• Implement best practices to streamline project planning and execution.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years' experience in project planning or management within a supply chain environment.
• Knowledge of Asana, Smartsheet, Monday, MS Project, or PMP certification.
