About the position

The Demand Planner at Holistic Industries is responsible for forecasting and managing product demand to ensure that supply meets customer needs efficiently. This role involves analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and utilizing statistical methods to predict future product demand, while collaborating with various teams to align forecasts with business strategies.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing historical sales data and market trends to predict future product demand.
• Collaborating with supply chain and inventory teams to manage stock levels effectively.
• Monitoring and analyzing sales data and customer behavior to refine forecasts.
• Working with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to align forecasts with business strategies.
• Creating and presenting reports on demand forecasts and inventory levels to stakeholders.
• Identifying opportunities for improving demand planning processes and tools.
• Utilizing demand planning software and tools to support forecasting and inventory management activities.
• Assessing risks related to supply chain disruptions and developing mitigation strategies.
• Ensuring accuracy and consistency in data visualizations and addressing discrepancies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or analytics/statistics.
• At least 5 years of experience in demand planning.
• Strong knowledge of statistical methods and forecasting tools.
• Proficiency in analytic platforms and business analytics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving and project management skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Cannabis industry experience is strongly preferred.
