About the position

The Demand Planner at KeHE Distributors is responsible for supporting the promotional forecasting process, ensuring efficient execution through advanced order management systems. This role involves collaboration with various departments to drive results towards key performance indicators and improve promotional demand planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the promotional forecasting process using Connect Order Management and Advanced Order Management systems.
• Drive results towards company and demand specific KPIs such as outbound fill rate and inventory turnover.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups including Replenishment and IT to execute promotional plans successfully.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for the Promotional Demand Planning function.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in the Promotional Demand Planning system and processes.
• Leverage large data sets to provide actionable insights around promotions.
• Support key projects including customer onboarding and seasonal planning.
• Manage the constrained item process to ensure fair inventory distribution during limited supply.
• Apply problem-solving and analytical skills to support customers effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Engineering or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in forecasting, demand planning, or sales analysis in a high SKU count environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and PowerPivot.
• Effective communication skills and ability to influence without direct reports.
