As a Demand Planner, you will engage in consensus demand planning by creating and managing the style/color level consensus demand forecast and buy plans to meet Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) requirements. You will track and monitor demand by reviewing actual demand versus forecasted demand and adjusting buy plans as appropriate. Additionally, you will review and analyze forecasts, leveraging and maximizing tool capabilities to ensure forecasting accuracy. Inventory management will be a key responsibility, ensuring that purchasing decisions are aligned to Open to Buy. You will also manage the creation, sizing, and ongoing maintenance of purchase orders to optimize inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage the style/color level consensus demand forecast and buy plans to meet MOQ requirements.
  • Review actual demand vs. forecasted demand and adjust buy plans as appropriate.
  • Leverage/maximize tool capabilities to ensure forecasting accuracy.
  • Ensure purchasing decisions are aligned to Open to Buy.
  • Manage the creation, sizing, and ongoing maintenance of purchase orders to optimize inventory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of Merchandising or Planning experience required.
  • Problem solving mindset, analytical skills required.
  • Financial management & business acumen skills required.
  • Excellent communication (oral & written) skills required.
  • Microsoft Excel experience required.

Nice-to-haves

  • SAP and/or IBP experience preferred.
