About the position

The Demand Planner is responsible for managing and forecasting demand to ensure optimal inventory levels and supply chain efficiency. This role requires a strong analytical background and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders to align demand with supply capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts based on historical data and market trends.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to gather insights and align forecasts.
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust forecasts as necessary to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
• Utilize advanced Excel and SQL for data analysis and reporting.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding demand planning processes and changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a relevant field.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in a demand planning or forecasting role.
• Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
• Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
• High proficiency with SQL and Advanced Excel.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
