About the position

The Demand Planner at ABB plays a crucial role in generating an unconstrained demand plan, focusing on finished goods rationalization and improving demand planning accuracy. This hybrid position is part of the Process Industries Process Control Platform division, where the planner will collaborate with various functions to support sales and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain rolling 18-24 months of unconstrained demand forecasts for assigned products.
• Assemble and analyze data pertinent to creating an unconstrained demand plan.
• Support Sales by providing guidance on global demand for specific products and assist with the consolidation of the worldwide demand plan.
• Monitor finished goods Stock Keeping Units (SKU) levels and recommend SKU rationalization initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in business or related field plus 8 years of experience, or a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments.
• Working knowledge of supply chain and experience in ERP (SAP preferred).
