About the position

The Demand Planner at CIA Wheel Group is responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts and driving inventory management strategies to ensure product availability. This role requires collaboration with various departments to optimize the supply chain and support the company's growth objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SKU demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation, incorporating business intelligence, historical data, and input from sales and marketing.
• Analyze sales trends, seasonal demand variations, and promotional impacts to refine forecasts and inventory requirements.
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to align demand and supply plans with business goals.
• Generate demand planning reports, performance metrics, and recommend improvements to forecast accuracy.
• Identify areas for process improvement within demand planning to enhance forecast accuracy, response time, and planning efficiencies.

Requirements

• 5+ years in demand planning, forecasting, or a similar supply chain role (CPG or automotive background).
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (APICS certification is a plus).
• Proficiency in demand planning software and advanced Excel skills; experience with statistical analysis tools is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate collaboration across departments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy under deadlines.
