About the position

The Demand Planner at Infinity Global, Inc. is responsible for creating accurate and timely demand forecasts to ensure optimal inventory levels. This role involves analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and business intelligence to develop forecasts that support decision-making in the supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Forecast demand and plan inventory replenishments in coordination with procurement
• Create 'best' forecast based on historical data and future business intelligence
• Analyze forecast accuracy and identify forecast errors; identify ways to improve forecasting accuracy
• Generate monthly forecast review reports, including newly suggested forecasts, special sales history, and store openings for Account Managers to review
• Organize monthly sales forecast meetings
• Communicate with Account Managers regarding updates to customer performance and special events
• Advise Account Management on which safety stock method to utilize based on historical data and forecast
• Communicate and coordinate with Atlas Suite Enterprise software consultant on software issues and data connection with company's internal remote server

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business or similar field or 4+ years of experience in a related role
• Thorough understanding of statistical models
• Proficient in MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word

Nice-to-haves

• Preferred familiarity with SQL, MS Access, and SQL Server
