About the position

The Demand Planner role is essential for a multinational corporation specializing in athletic apparel and equipment. This position focuses on demand planning, inventory management, and performance analysis to enhance product distribution and assortment planning, ensuring efficient service to customers.

Responsibilities

• Focus on efficient distribution of products and services to customers.
• Set, review, and reconcile periodic demand plans (assortments, flow, drops, SKU productivity, allocations).
• Maximize revenue and minimize excess inventory through strategic planning.
• Understanding and using planning tools and systems.
• Ensuring accuracy and clear communication.
• Forecast variance analysis.
• Prioritizing, negotiating, and resolving category-specific inventory issues.

Requirements

• Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree.
• Minimum of 2-4 years directly relevant work experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with planning tools is beneficial.

Nice-to-haves
