About the position

We are seeking a skilled Demand Planner to join our dynamic team in Cupertino, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for generating weekly forecasts of the refurb component supply chain. These forecasts are crucial for our procurement teams, aiding in determining the worldwide refurb component plan. Additionally, you will play a vital role in communicating any shortages in components and their impact on the supply chain. This position requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to ensure that supply plans align with customer demand and business objectives. You will be expected to analyze large data sets, conduct ad hoc analysis, and merge data from various sources to generate actionable insights. Your expertise in reverse supply chain methodologies will be essential in optimizing our processes and ensuring efficiency in our operations. As a Demand Planner, you will be responsible for refurb supply/demand planning globally. This includes analyzing weekly actuals and forecasts to develop a comprehensive weekly refurb supply plan that meets customer demand and team targets. You will coordinate weekly cadence calls with global stakeholders and collaborate closely with stakeholder teams to ensure that supply plans meet our predetermined targets. Your role will also involve publishing and reconciling weekly supply plans, ensuring that any changes or gaps are effectively communicated and addressed. Working closely with APAC and EMEA operations teams, you will secure adequate capacity and materials to meet quarterly targets. Furthermore, you will act as a liaison between the business and warehouses, coordinating issue resolutions and handling application enhancement requests. This position is critical to maintaining the flow of components and ensuring that our supply chain operates smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Generate weekly forecasts of the refurb component supply chain.
  • Analyze weekly actuals and forecasts to develop a comprehensive weekly refurb supply plan that meets customer demand and team targets.
  • Coordinate weekly cadence calls with global stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholder teams to ensure that supply plans meet predetermined targets.
  • Publish and reconcile weekly supply plans, ensuring that any changes or gaps are effectively communicated and addressed.
  • Work closely with APAC and EMEA operations teams to secure adequate capacity and materials to meet quarterly targets.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in analyzing large data sets and conducting ad hoc analysis.
  • Experience with reverse supply chain methodologies.
  • Adept at merging data from various sources to generate conclusions through analysis.
  • Skills for blending quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Experience in executive-level reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Tableau.
  • Must have experience in creating Tableau data dashboards.

Nice-to-haves

  • Extracting data using SQL queries from Snowflake platform (queries are pre-written and in existing library but prior experience is a plus).
  • SQL query experience is advantageous.
  • SAP PD2 experience.
  • Knowledge of refurb supply chain operations.
