About the position

The Demand Planner role is focused on utilizing sales and operations processes, tools, and methodologies to analyze and enhance demand forecasts for various product categories. The position involves providing actionable data analyses to support business cases for demand plans, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the development and execution of forecasts to support the enterprise sales and operations planning process for all business segments and sales verticals.
• Executes demand planning for specific product categories, creating repeatable processes and developing demand analytics.
• Delivers total demand forecasts and measures, analyzes, and improves forecast accuracy with corrective actions and process enhancements.
• Leads a workstream that maintains forecast accuracy for one or more sales verticals.
• Creates statistical forecasts and identifies risks using quantitative methods and application software.
• Collaborates with various departments to incorporate new products, retire old products, and manage customer-specific forecast requirements.
• Retrieves, refines, and analyzes data, translating complex data sets into presentations for leadership.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of demand planning or inventory management experience.
• Experience with demand or inventory planning systems such as E3, Blue Yonder, or SAP.
• Proficiency in E3 Forecasting, including reading forecast metrics and making sales history adjustments.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP & Pivot Tables).
• Experience in data analysis and interpersonal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
