About the position

HoverTech International is seeking a Demand Planner to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in demand planning and will be responsible for forecasting product demand, managing inventory levels, and maximizing cash flow while ensuring sales and service levels are met. This role requires strong analytical skills and effective communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels and take appropriate action
• Conduct inventory optimization analysis
• Forecast product demand
• Manage projects related to demand planning
• Recommend quantities to be purchased on a weekly basis
• Maintain a constant relationship with sales to understand demand forecasting drivers
• Improve forecast accuracy by reviewing historical data and market trends
• Provide reports on forecast and inventory KPIs
• Maintain integrity of supply chain data in NetSuite
• Provide rolling 12-month forecast to key suppliers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business management/operations, or similar
• 4-6 years of demand planning experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
• Experience with ERP/Demand Planning software (NetSuite preferred)
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Ability to lift 25 pounds
