About the position

The Demand Planner is responsible for generating weekly forecasts of component demand to support procurement teams. This role involves communicating events that may impact demand for repair and warranty services, coordinating with supply teams to ensure alignment between supply and demand.

Responsibilities

• Generate weekly forecasts of component demand for procurement teams.
• Communicate events that impact demand for repair and warranty services.
• Coordinate with supply teams to ensure alignment between supply and demand.
• Create demand forecasts for materials or specific lines of business (LOB).
• Conduct data analysis to support forecasting efforts.
• Interact with cross-functional teams to ensure coordination and alignment.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in analyzing large data sets and conducting ad hoc analysis.
• Knowledge of or experience with reverse supply chain.
• Experience in service forecasting, preferably in a high-tech environment.
• Experience using service forecasting tools such as o9, JDE, Oracle, SAP, etc.
• Adept at merging data from various sources to generate conclusions through analysis.
• Advanced Excel experience, including strong skills in pivot tables and V-Lookups.
• User-level experience with Tableau.
• Experience extracting data from Snowflake, Oracle, or similar databases.
• B.S. degree in a related field plus 3-5 years of related experience, or an advanced degree plus 1-2 years of related experience. An industrial engineering degree is a plus.
