About the position

The Demand Planner will be responsible for managing and forecasting product demand, ensuring optimal inventory levels, and supporting the overall supply chain strategy. This role requires strong analytical skills and collaboration across departments to improve demand planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales data and market trends to develop accurate demand forecasts.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to align on product availability and promotional activities.
• Utilize MRP systems and SAP ERP for inventory management and planning.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify discrepancies between forecasted and actual demand.
• Create reports using Power BI to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust forecasts based on changing market conditions.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in demand planning or supply chain management.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in sales analysis and forecasting techniques.
• Familiarity with MRP systems and SAP ERP is preferred.
• Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Blue Yonder / JDA
• Experience with Netstock/ Demandworks
• Knowledge of SAP APO, SAP, or SAP Business Objects
