About the position

The Demand Planner at Grivet Outdoors is responsible for executing the Inventory & Operations Planning process across various marketplace platforms. This role involves creating and maintaining forecast models, analyzing business momentum, and collaborating with multiple teams to ensure alignment with financial and corporate targets. The Demand Planner will also serve as a subject matter expert on Supply and Demand KPIs, facilitating effective communication regarding forecast accuracy and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Create the 12-month rolling forecast utilizing historical data, current trends, and statistical models.
• Create/review/validate rolling 12-month top SKU-level demand signals incorporating multi-marketplace demand.
• Own the Sales Analysis process, identifying risks and opportunities with the forecast.
• Drive timely decisions and execution strategies for aged, excess & obsolete inventory.
• Develop, implement, and maintain dashboard reporting to track and report KPIs.
• Own Demand-to-Forecast deviation review, adjusting and identifying key drivers of variances.

Requirements

• High functional competency in Amazon Seller Central and Walmart Seller Center.
• Strong understanding of forecasting, analytics, and operations planning.
• Proven successful track record on cross-functional team projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with attention to accuracy.
• Direct experience working with supply chain operational partners.
• BS/BA in relevant field including Economics, Finance, Math or Business, MBA preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Planning / Analytics function.
• Competence in Excel, Power BI, Python for automation preferred.
