About the position

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Demand Planner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and forecasting product demand, ensuring optimal inventory levels, and supporting the overall supply chain strategy. This position requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments to drive continuous improvement in our demand planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales data and market trends to develop accurate demand forecasts.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to align on product availability and promotional activities.
• Utilize MRP systems and SAP ERP for inventory management and planning.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify discrepancies between forecasted and actual demand.
• Create reports using Power BI to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust forecasts based on changing market conditions.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in demand planning or supply chain management.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in sales analysis and forecasting techniques.
• Familiarity with MRP systems and SAP ERP is preferred.
• Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
