We are on a journey of continuous growth - now looking for our next star - a passionate Demand Planner. This role will be an integral member of the Commercial Strategy and Sales Operations team and report to the Manager of Demand Planning. This role will be responsible for all aspects of demand forecasting and will lead the activities that will impact the overall strategy and annual go to market execution. Individual will serve as the liaison and communication leader between Sales, Operations, Product Development and Finance related to inventory availability, consumption and customer/item analytics. Responsibilities

  • Facilitate forecast process and maintain a rolling 18-month unit forecast at a customer and SKU level.
  • Develop analytics to support decision making at all levels and across functions.
  • Lead monthly forecast reviews with account managers.
  • Call meetings to solve unplanned demand changes.
  • Ensure alignment between demand requirements and supply capabilities.
  • Analysis of assigned customers through various Excel and Power BI reports.
  • Review, analyze and take action based on available retailer point-of-sale information.
  • Publish Excess and Obsolete data and distribute per departmental requirements.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of cross-functional process improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal departments on ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.
  • Work with and train less experienced demand planner(s) in the department.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of experience in a forecasting or planning role.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel (e.g., pivots, advanced formulas) & PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills - able to communicate clearly and concisely to all levels of the organization.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5 years of experience in a forecasting or planning role.
  • Experience working with Power BI and Oracle.
  • Experience in either the manufacturing or retail industries.
